6 lemons
20 oz honey
1 quart jar

how to make tinklees honey lemon slices

slice lemons (if using a mandolin I found med was the perfect insert)

add some honey to the bottom of the jar, add a few lemon slices (about 8-12)

then more honey, just kinda coat over the slices

keep doing this until you reach the top of the jar, I usually push down some to get rid of air pockets and empty holes when I'm close to the top

let sit in refrigerator for 8hrs before using, it might need shaking a lil to get the honey mixed all the way, it might take till the next day before honey has dissolved all the way

To use take and add 1 or 2 tablespoons to your iced tea or to any hot drink to, and as a hot drink for a sore throat add 2tablespoons to 1 cup of boiling water,and if you would like a lil ginger and a shot of whiskey goes well with it to
