Ingredients sigs strawberry risotto
350 grams / 12oz/3 cups strawberries hulled and halved
150 grams / 4 oz/ half a cup risotto rice
250 ml /9fl oz/ 1cup ofwater
250 ml /9fl oz/ 1cup of milk
110 grams /4 oz/ half a cup caster sugar
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
how to make sigs strawberry risotto
place the rice,,water and butter into saucepan bring to boil
reduce to simmer, let rice absorb water, stirring until almost absorbed
in the meantime combine milk and sugar and add to the rice( some people heat this first and then add to rice ) when water is absorbed
cook for 15.minutes until rich and thick ,stirring from time to time
add strawberry halves ,stir gently
spoon into bowls sprinkle with fresh cracked pepper.
