Ingredients italian stuffed pasta shells
1 lb mild Italian sausage
25 large pasta shells
1 can Italian diced tomatoes drained
2 garlic cloves minced
1/2 medium onion diced
1/2 small package of ricotta about 5 tbs.
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped fresh padsley
1 salt pepper to taste
1 dash italian seasoning garlic powder red pepper flakes
how to make italian stuffed pasta shells
preheat oven to 350°
boil a pot of water
add pasta shells to water and boil until cooked, about 15 minutes...stir occasionally, and drain when finished.
in the mean time, cook Italian sausage in pan in medium heat, then drain excess grease once browned. Set aside.
add the diced onions to pan, cook two minutes.
add chopped garlic to pan and cook an additional minute.
add the can off tomatoes, the cooked Italian sausage, and fresh parsley
season and stir until everything is incorporated.
turn off the heat and stir in the ricotta cheese
stuff the cooked pasta shells with the mixture, and arrange in a circular oven safe dish
top with mozzarella cheese and cook for about 10 minutes or until the cheese melts
