Ingredients white bread
3 cup flour
2 1/4 tbsp yeast
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup warm water
2 tbsp veg. oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
how to make white bread
let yeast rise in bowl mixed with the warm water, sugar, oil and salt for 10 minutes.
mix with flour slowly; mix until doughy consistency is achieved.
knead for at least 10 minutes by hand.
allow to rise in a greased baking pan for 1 hour. keep dough cover with a warm wet cloth.
after 45 minutes, preheat oven to 350. allow oven to get nice and hot before inserting bread.
coat top of bread with beaten egg wash.
by then, your hour long proofing session should be done; place dough in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
allow bread to cool fully before cutting it or taking it out of the baking pan.
