Ingredients braised fish with coconut milk


200 ml coconut milk
4 tbsp spring onion
1/2 cup coconut oil or any oil
2 fresh desseded red chili
MARINATE FISH
4 tbsp fish sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 thumb size ginger
2 tbsp shallot
2 tbsp garlic
2 herring or any fish

how to make braised fish with coconut milk


Marinated fish for half an hour


in pan with coconut oil brown fish both side till skin lighly crispy then add remaining marinate till pounded paste lightly brown then add coconut milk


add dark soy sauce and mix well let it simmer for another 2 minute


top red chili and scallion then mix well and off heat serve immediately
